Bay of Puerto de San Miguel, which was once the fishing port of the charming village of San Miguel, 5 km to the south.
Medium sized, deep, curved natural sand beach, protected by pine covered hills, which are delightful for walks if you don’t mind the climb. Crystal clear waters and safe swimming, because the bay is well protected by steep cliffs.
A good place to relax after your visit to the caves of Can Marça, where you will be transported back in time to retrace the ancient footsteps of infamous smugglers of bygone days (see below).
Although there are a few hotels and apartments situated around the bay of San Miguel, this little village does not really qualify as a resort. The two hotels built into the rocks are quite unique on the island.
Facilities: There are some good restaurants and a few bars, but no shops (apart from souvenir and beach-wear). Buses run regularly to the village of San Miguel, 5 km to the south.
